WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is a process through which clients are helped to measurably improve their performance and personal effectiveness.  The coaching experience offers the rare opportunity to stand back and take a new look at the experiences and assumptions of a lifetime.  Coaching is a confidential conversation where the coach’s role is to listen, support, challenge and guide clients through specific situations. A coach helps an individual understand and eliminate barriers to a more effective performance.

A coach will act as a sounding board, helping clients to gain greater self-awareness through asking questions and challenging assumptions.  They will help clients clarify their goals, establish and achieve their development objectives, widen their perspective and ultimately empower clients to make positive changes.
